TODAY Zombies are now used as cheap and stinky slaves with Control Collars. Cities have walls to keep roaming waves of zombies in the wastelands. Only nuts and mutants live outside the cities.

WORLD

Henry Crabtree started ZomBGone in 1985. He was a hero of the apocalypse, saving the town of Ashland with his legendary exploits. For 30 years he kept the city’s zombies in check, killing and capturing zombies to be fitted with Control Collars.

When he retired, his son Ron took over for him. Ron coasted on Henry’s good will and the ZomBGone name. He hired his best friends and they take care of the town through a haze of weed smoke with their wacky schemes and DIY methods. They don’t have money for the expensive tools so they make do with what they make in their free time.

Characters

Ron Crabtree - Ron runs ZomBGone. First generation to be born in a world with zombies. Ron is an egomaniac with a self esteem problem and hates authority, even his own. He is a natural at zombie killing, often times out of bizarre luck. But he takes pride in his ability to get the job done, to the point where he ignores the other aspects of the job. He has a weak stomach and gore makes him vomit, a bad problem for a zombie killer.

Damon Howard - best friends with Ron since they were in Kindergarten. Damon is smart and inventive. He invents gadgets to make jobs easier, but they often backfire. He is sweet and creative and working at ZomBGone with his best friend and his wife is a dream come true for him.

Mandy Howard - Damon’s wife. She does the accounting and odd jobs around the office, but NEVER the cleaning. She is feisty and brassy and thinks Damon’s potential is wasted at ZomBGone. She’s been part of the crew since childhood and has a sister-like relationship with Ron.

Vance Petty- Vance started as an extra hand for one job and never went away. He is the town lothario and a really relaxed dude. He always has weed on him and is always down to smoke anyone up. A redneck and a millennial, he loves guns, but also loves his artisanal coffee. Whenever he thinks up a hairbrained scheme he immediately starts it.

Henry Crabtree - the now retired founder of ZomBGone. He represents the masculine fantasy of a zombie apocalypse. His smarts and strength showed mankind's fortitude in the face of extinction. He is weirdly nostalgic for the apocalypse. He still comes into the office everyday and backseat drives everything.

Georgia Roomer- Ron’s ex wife runs the Control Collar and Used Zombie Lot. ZomBGone sells captured zombies to them for extra profit. She used to work at ZomBGone but branched out and started her own business. It has thrived and has lots all over the state. Ron just isn’t ambitious enough for her. She proves to be too ambitious, sometimes in evil ways. ZomBGone doesn’t trust her, but everyone else finds her delightful.
